Brancepeth has become an important focal point for the Bent family to meet and stay in touch with each other as they spread out and start their own families.
The Name
Brancepeth is named after the Village of Brancepeth which is situated near Brancepeth Castle near Durham City in the North East of England.
The History
The house was built in the 1940's by the Brown family who had moved to Geelong from Brancepeth village.
Gary and Judith then bought Brancepeth from the Browns in 1971 as a place to bring up their expanding young family.
